The fabric was produced in Israel by Flocktex Industries Ltd – a world leader in the production of Flock fabrics.<\/p>\n
The fabric is certified flame retardant and Oeko-Tex\u00ae<\/strong><\/span> certified.<\/p>\n Oeko-Tex\u00ae product class 1: “Articles for babies and young children”.<\/strong> <\/p>\n It does not have the harmful PFAS compounds<\/strong> that are quite commonly used by many manufacturers today.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n PFAS<\/strong> – are compounds that are harmful to health and difficult to eliminate from the environment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The fabric has no harmful chemicals and is safe for human health and life and for the environment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Flocktex products have always been known to be extremely dirt-resistant and to provide exceptional fabric cleaning properties.<\/span><\/p>\n In the current crisis, these intrinsic qualities make our products the most suitable for carrying out the soft surface cleaning procedures required to combat the spread of COVID-19. Our products are approved for the strictest Oeko-Tex\u00ae Class 1 certification, safe for child contact and Class 4 for home textiles. They are abrasion, sweat and light resistant. No harmful substances can be extracted from the fabric and, at the same time, external dirt cannot adhere to it. This combination provides a safe surface suitable for the current stringent hygiene requirements.<\/p>\n Centon for Disease Control (CDC) Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) recommendations for cleaning soft surfaces states:<\/span><\/p>\n “Clean the surface with soap and water or cleaners suitable for use on these surfaces.”<\/p>\n We therefore recommend wiping our fabric with a baby wipe that contains mild soaps and skin softeners.<\/span><\/p>\n Apply a small amount of detergent to the soiled area. Wait 2-3 minutes and gently clean using circular motions until the stain disappears. Do not use a hair dryer, leave it to self dry. Once dry, lift the hair by brushing out with a fine brush. Like all types of good quality velvet, nylon velour fabric is sensitive to the crease which highlights the natural beauty of the textile.
