The Ohio upholstery fabric is characterised by an interesting, imitative three-dimensional, regular pattern. It is available in nine muted and not flashy shades, so it will be easy to incorporate into different interior styles, adding some flair. The fabric belongs to the group of flock fabrics, which are fleshy and slightly mossy like velvet, making them very pleasant to the touch. They are also thick and therefore resistant to intensive use over many years, as well as being stain- and water-repellent. These features make it easy to keep them clean for a long time. Both its visual and tactile qualities, as well as its practicality, make this fabric an excellent choice as an upholstery fabric and for sewing decorative accessories.

Most dirt behaves in such a way that it remains on the surface in the form of droplets, which can be easily cleaned by shaking off with a cloth dampened with water or, for heavier dirt, using non-invasive water-based cleaners. When using cleaning products, apply a cloth dampened with them to the stained area, wait 2-3 minutes, then rub gently in circular motions until the stain disappears. The stain should then be left to dry on its own. Do not use a hairdryer to accelerate drying. When the wet spot dries, use a soft brush to gently lift the hair on the fabric. Because flock fabric, like modern velour or velvet, is crease-sensitive, when creases appear we use a light steam jet to straighten them out.
